Commercial Lead (Precast Concrete \/ Construction), Dubai, United Arab Emirates | Senior Staff Level Role Overview EXPAT employment opportunity! A leading manufacturer and installers of precast concrete elements in Dubai is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to take ownership of day-to-day commercial and contract administration across assigned construction projects. The role will work closely with Project Management, Planning, Design, Production, Site and Finance teams, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Review and administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and client correspondence. Identify contractual obligations, risks and commercial exposure. Manage variations, change orders, claims and extensions of time, including supporting documentation and submissions. Prepare and track monthly payment applications, certifications, invoices and outstanding payments. Ensure contractual notices and commercial correspondence are issued within required timeframes. Maintain accurate registers for variations, claims, payments, retention and final accounts. Monitor delays, changes and additional costs and identify potential commercial entitlement. Prepare commercial reports highlighting project status, risks and required actions. Support commercial negotiations, subcontractor reviews and final account settlements. Maintain comprehensive commercial records to protect the company''s contractual and financial position. Inherent Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 5-8 years' commercial\/contracts experience within construction, precast concrete or a related contracting environment. Proven experience in contract administration, variations, claims, payment applications, certification and final accounts. Working knowledge of FIDIC and standard construction contracts preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting skills. Excellent contractual writing, negotiation, analytical and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of commercial matters.
