We are seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a well established vehicle dealership.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established automotive dealership group operating within KwaZulu-Natal, representing top-tier global vehicle marques and delivering exceptional workshop service standards. We are seeking a Qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician (Petrol or Diesel) to join a dedicated commercial workshop team in Pinetown. The role focuses primarily on the routine servicing, repair, and advanced fault diagnosis of light commercial fleet vehicles, with a strong focus on popular panel van and minibus ranges. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and major mechanical repairs on light commercial vehicles. Conduct precise fault diagnosis and electrical troubleshooting using modern OEM diagnostic software. Ensure all repair work strictly complies with manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. Complete job cards accurately and manage daily clocking times efficiently. Work closely with workshop controllers and service advisors to maintain quick job turnaround times. Requirements: Relevant Trade Test Certificate (Automotive Electrician, Petrol, or Diesel Mechanic). Proven experience as a qualified technician within a franchised motor dealership. Practical working knowledge of light commercial vehicle architectures (experience with German commercial ranges like the VW Crafter series is highly advantageous). Valid South African driver's license. Remuneration: Market Related and subject to experience ***Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted***
