We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering cutting-edge automation and control solutions across the mining, manufacturing, energy, water, and industrial sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex greenfield and brownfield projects, taking responsibility for the design, development, commissioning, and optimisation of world-class control systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems for process plants and industrial facilities. Develop PLC, SCADA, and HMI software in accordance with project specifications. Configure Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and industrial communication networks. Produce functional design specifications, control philosophies, IO lists, cause-and-effect matrices, and software documentation. Design and review control system architectures, instrumentation interfaces, and network layouts. Configure industrial communication protocols including Ethernet\/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, OPC, and CAN Bus. Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities. Troubleshoot and optimise existing control systems to improve plant performance and reliability. Support electrical and instrumentation integration during project execution. Assist with project planning, technical reporting, and engineering documentation. Ensure all work complies with client specifications, industry standards, and applicable safety regulations. Provide technical support to operations, maintenance teams, and clients. Minimum Requirements BEng\/BSc\/BTech in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in industrial automation or process control engineering. Experience with PLC programming using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Schneider Electric, Omron, or Mitsubishi. Experience with SCADA and HMI systems such as Siemens WinCC, AVEVA\/Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk View, or Citect. Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (ABB 800xA, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, or similar) is advantageous. Experience with industrial instrumentation and field devices. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and networking. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required. Please send your cv to
