JOB SUMMARY:
Corporate Commercial Attorney

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Well established firm in Johannesburg is looking for a Corporate Commercial Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will have total management and co-ordination of all legal practice management for the business unit, with end to end oversight and control over the area of responsibility.

Minimum requirements:

LLB degree
BCom and Post Graduate qualifications is highly beneficial
Must have evidence of people and practice management experience critical
Admission as Conveyancer and Notary Public is beneficial
Must have a minimum of 8 - 15 years working experience; 8 - 10 years' must be obtained in Bank Commercial Recoveries environment
Must have experience with commercial drafting - especially mergers and acquisitions
Experience in Commercial, Insolvency and Business Rescue Practice Management will receive preference
Established network of specialists based in Gauteng Regional and Provincial Divisions, the Deeds office and a network of accessible insolvency practitioners considered critical

Must have knowledge in:

Companies Act Chapter 6
National Credit Act
Debt Collectors Act
Magistrate and High Court Act
Insolvency Act
Illegal Evictions Act
Property Law
