JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Position: Credit Control Supervisor

Ref: 4083

Location: Johannesburg (near JHB South)

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Credit Management qualification (NQF 4)

• Minimum of 10 years working experience in credit control of which at least 3 are in a managerial or supervisory capacity

Key Performance Areas:

• Manage new account onboarding process

• Process applications

• Capture company details accurately

• Perform checks

• Minimize overdue accounts

• Contact customer to resolve any overdue amounts

• Make notes on AS400 to ensure record for future reference

• Block arrear accounts on AS400 and notify the Customer, Regional Sales Manager and Call Centre Managers

• Advise Credit Control Manager of all invoices not paid within 90 days to ensure cover

• Any adjustment journals / corrections or requests for credit notes to be signed off by management

• Maintain customer relationships

• Resolve all customer queries efficiently, friendly and as timely as possible

• Maintain an accurate, up to date history of all queries

• Send suspension letter to customer for overdue amounts

• Send documents to customers when requested i.e. statements, credit notes, invoices etc.

• Regular contact and correspondence with customer

• Provide Support to the Credit Control Manager

• Update and monitor sensitive fields in Master File as and when needed

• Unblock and block accounts

• Increase and decrease limits

• Assist Credit Controllers with complex customer queries

• Supervise Debtors Assistants

• Ensure day to day tasks are done efficiently and accurate

• Ensure adequate storage and retrieval of all company documentation
