SUMMARY:
A well-established and dynamic law firm in Bellville is seeking an Admitted Conveyancing Attorney for a Developments Manager role. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, proven leadership ability, and a passion for driving growth within the property developments division.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Developments Manager or in a similar senior conveyancing role
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to oversee a team and manage departmental operations
• Excellent business acumen with a proactive mindset towards growth, lead generation, and market intelligence sharing
• Thorough understanding of property development processes, business strategy, and transactional workflows
• Solid understanding of market research methods, with the ability to identify and resolve problem areas timeously and escalate issues to Directors when required
• Experience managing HR-related functions, ensuring effective utilization of internal systems and information management
• Proven ability to train and mentor new staff on internal processes and systems, ensuring compliance with firm standards and procedures
• Must have own reliable transport

• Oversee the Developments Department, ensuring efficient management of all development-related conveyancing matters
• Drive the growth and profitability of the department through client relationship building and business development initiatives
• Collaborate with Directors to implement strategic goals and operational improvements
• Maintain strong relationships with developers, estate agents, and financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and firm-specific policies
• Provide guidance, support, and training to junior team members to uphold performance excellence
