Digital Marketing Manager

Location: De Waterkant, Cape Town (onsite)

Salary: R540k per annum

About the Role:

Opportunity available within a luxury Motorbike Retail outlet for a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Manager to develop, execute, and optimise digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will manage websites, paid search, social media, lead generation, and overall campaign management, ensuring alignment with brand goals.

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Marketing, Business, or similar.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing ideally within retail or e-commerce.

Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Lookerstudio, and CRM

systems.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and

independently.

Demonstrable experience with project management, social media strategy, SEO best

practices, and lead generation.

Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Established press and media contacts are beneficial.

A technical understanding of APIs and website feeds is essential for this role.

KPI’s:

Revenue Generation: Direct revenue growth from digital channels.

Website Traffic & Conversion: Track visitor numbers, new vs. returning visitors, and

conversion rates.

Cost Efficiency: Monitor CPA and optimise spending to enhance ROI.

Engagement: Measure social media engagement, follower growth, and reach.

Lead Quality: Track and qualify marketing leads

Customer Satisfaction: Collect and analyse customer feedback to guide improvements.

Responsibilities:

Web development, user experience, and design

Strategy & Planning

Lead campaign execution from start to finish

Analyse customer insights, trends, and market data

Content Development & Campaigns

Manage multi-channel campaigns

Ensure seamless social media channels, email marketing, and CRM integration

Performance Measurement & Reporting

Utilise Google Analytics, Lookerstudio, and other analytics tools

Develop Lookerstudio reports for each business unit

Regularly evaluate campaign KPIs

Stakeholder & Team Management

Project manage service providers and collaborate with partners

Lead the digital marketing team

Communicate marketing strategies and results to senior leaders

Customer Insights & Conversion Optimisation

Oversee CRM performance (SAGE) and email, SMS, and WhatsApp marketing initiatives

Coordinate with web teams to ensure websites perform optimally

Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events, both online and offline,

Drive SEO and PPC strategies

Establish brand presence across social media channels
