JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, has an opportunity available for a Digital Media Analyst to join their team in the Midrand area. We are looking for someone who has experience translating raw data into a visual format that is simple to interpret to base future strategies on.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification required:

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma (Digital marketing, communications, business analysis, etc)

Skills and experience required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing
Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience working in a media agency is preferred
Experience on the following platforms is required: Facebook ads, Google ads, GPM 360, Twitter ads Manager.
Must have experience with or building reporting dashboards on Data Studio or Datarama
Salesforce or Google Data experience is essential
Experience in the FMCG or CPG space
Confident enough to present at an executive level

Some knowledge of web tracking tools such as Google Analytics
A strong desire to learn about other aspects of digital marketing

Highly pressurised role
Highly detail orientated

Job description:

Reports to Digital Manager
Work closely with media agencies
Data analysis for multiple brands
Review analyse and inform marketing team based on data findings
Build reports on how the media is performing
Use data to improve marketing campaigns and improve bottom line
Drive key digital marketing strategies based on data
Build digital strategy roadmap to support digital

Extracting and interpret data
Build monthly reports
Analyse campaign performance for future improvements
Google analytics to review performance
Stay up to sate with digital marketing trends and opportunities
Take raw data and put it into a visual format others will understand (graphs, pivot tables, PowerPoint presentations)

*Hybrid work (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home per week).
