SUMMARY:
Leading international manufacturer in the steel industry, the company holds a niche position in the construction and mining sector and is the largest operation of its kind in Sub-Sahara Africa supplying products globally

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the processes for financial and cash flow forecasting, reporting, working capital and project impact on cash flow
Own and ensure implementation of the organization’s financial procedures and continuously update them as needed
Oversee logistics, IT, production planning, procurement systems
Lead all financial audits and compliance projects within the organization.
Support systems design and implementation within the organization on Syspro (ERP)
Review weekly wages and monthly salary payroll
Update costing models to assist with tender pricing
Forecast monthly sales and reporting daily sales progress vs forecast to head office
FX management – covering inbound purchases and outbound sales (SASFIN)
Engaging group companies on rental and utility recoveries, rental agreements to be maintained
BEE implementation and execution, maintain level 2 rating
Engage with operations and understanding manufacturing flows and planning constraints
Identify and mitigate financial risks of the organization
Ensure audits completed on time and accurately

REQUIRMENTS

CA/CPA with a approx 10 years’ post-qualification experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a key leadership role
Financial compliance (internal and/or external audits).
Experience in an engineering / manufacturing organization leading teams
Logistics on site and outbound and inventory management
Solid understanding of working capital models
