Our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Export Manager to take strategic responsibility for its International Division. This senior-level position forms part of the organisation’s succession planning strategy and offers an opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of its international markets.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Matric Any relevant tertiary qualifications will be advantageous 5-10 years' relevant sales experience, preferably at management level Proven experience managing international\/export sales operations Strong leadership and people management experience Proven track record in strategic planning, business development and revenue growth Solid knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations and international logistics Experience with extensive international business travel Knowledge of polymers, textiles and plastics will be advantageous Strong commercial and business acumen Able to work effectively across different cultures and international markets Basic computer literacy Valid drivers license plus own reliable vehicle Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute international sales strategies to grow export revenue and market share Manage and strengthen relationships with international customers and distributors Identify new export markets and business development opportunities Lead, mentor and develop the International Sales team Manage export documentation, customs compliance, permits and shipping requirements Coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs officials and internal departments Resolve export, logistics, documentation and customs-related challenges Develop sales targets, forecast demand and negotiate commercial agreement Consultant: Gillian Ngwenyama - Dante Personnel Mpumalanga Apply via our website \/\/ MP009048 If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
