POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of + 5 years in Facilities Management.
  • Must have a valid driving license and own car.
  • Must be willing to work beyond regular work hours when required.

Duties include:

• Responsible for routine maintenance of all facilities/premises in the Johannesburg region (includes all buildings, warehouses, furniture, equipment, gardens and grounds).
• Responsible for renovations to interior/exterior surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Checks and ensures that agreed work by staff and contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies.
• Expedite jobs being done when so required.
• Sources suitable suppliers and assists in negotiating pricing and service delivery.
• Responds timeously to operational emergencies such as electrical failures, water leaks, etc.
• Responsible for maintenance and safe keeping of all equipment (tools, ladders, etc.).
• Responsible for adherence to the OSH Act and good housekeeping of the facilities always.
• Stays available for call out in emergencies.
• Identify potential risks and action such risks timeously.    
• Liaise with Service Providers

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – BCom in Operations Management /Project Management / Facilities Management or any related qualification.
