The Capital 15 on Orange is recruiting a Facilities Manager Ã¢Â€Â“ based in Cape Town.

THE CAPITAL 15 ON ORANGE is centrally located in Cape Town, with all the essential luxuries you will need for a vibey stay. Tuck in and unwind at the on-site restaurant and bar, take a dip in the pool or laze around the large deck and enjoy the great views. Choose to stay in a spacious studio, 1- or 2-bedroom apartment with oversized bathtubs and luxe rain showers. Description:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, security, pool and grounds issues are dealt with as well as managing a maintenance team.

Requirements

Proven Facilities management experience within a 4/5-star hotel (2 years+)
Matric
Hotel management diploma or equivalent
Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Huge emphasis on staff training and development
Effective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the Hotel
Honest and trustworthy beyond approach
Great attention to detail
Presentable/Professional appearance and well spoken
Team Player who leads by example
Proactive in approach
Interpersonal skills
Leadership skills
