POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: A well-established property organisation with a diverse portfolio of assets is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CA(SA) with strong property accounting experience who enjoys working in a commercially focused environment and taking ownership of financial reporting and controls. You will gain exposure to a dynamic property portfolio while working closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, sound financial controls, and effective financial management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial accounting and reporting across the property portfolio Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports Manage balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Monitor financial controls and ensure reporting accuracy Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: CA(SA) essential Experience: 3-5 years' post-qualification experience Strong property accounting experience essential Property portfolio experience highly advantageous Skills & Competencies: MDA experience non-negotiable MRI experience considered where directly transferable Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge Excellent Excel skills Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail Ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders What's in it for you?
