JOB SUMMARY:
An established FMCG supplier has a fantastic career opportunity for a General Manager in a small agricultural town in the Western Cape. This position is suited to an energetic, independent individual with outstanding leadership qualities, strong emotional intelligence / interpersonal skills, and a unique approach to problem-solving.

The successful candidate’s focus will be on driving efficient operating with a focus on commercial viability; building effectual supply and purchasing; developing fruitful long-term partnerships with crop producers; building a service-orientated team; continuously improving production management, storage facilities and existing processes on control systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
Tertiary qualification (Commerce, Agri Econ or BSc)
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
An interest in agriculture
Solid experience in an Agri/FMCG environment with the emphasis on supply chain and production
