POSITION INFO:

As a Group Accountant, you will play a key role in group financial reporting, consolidations, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. This role offers exposure to a prestigious JSE-listed organisation, where you’ll gain valuable listed-company experience and the opportunity to develop within a professional and supportive team.

Duties:

Preparation of group consolidations and reporting packs
Drafting and review of Annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS
Supporting the external audit process and liaising with auditors
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, JSE reporting requirements, and internal controls
Providing technical accounting input on complex transactions

Education and experience:

CA(SA) – newly qualified to 2 years post-articles experience
Experience in group reporting and consolidations essential
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
Exposure to a listed environment highly advantageous
Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
