This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned CA(SA) to step into a high-visibility leadership role where your expertise in reporting, governance, and group finance will directly support business growth and operational excellence.

POSITION INFO:
A well-established, multi-brand consumer business with a significant national footprint is seeking a Group Finance Executive to join their executive finance team. Operating within a fast-moving, high-volume environment, this organisation continues to evolve and expand its market presence through innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will take ownership of group reporting, consolidations, IFRS compliance, financial governance, and strategic financial oversight while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive performance across the broader business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the group finance function, including consolidated reporting and financial oversight across multiple business units
Drive IFRS compliance and ensure accurate and timely group reporting
Oversee annual financial statements, Board reporting packs, and audit processes
Manage group budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives and business performance
Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting efficiencies across the group
Provide technical accounting guidance and support on complex financial matters
Support stakeholder engagement within a corporate and fast-paced operating environment

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) qualification is essential
Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience
Strong group finance and consolidations experience is required
Deep understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
Experience within an FMCG or consumer-focused environment is highly advantageous
Exposure to a JSE listed environment would be beneficial
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
