Group Reporting Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:

Group Consolidation & Reporting:
Lead the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and consistency across all group entities.
IFRS Compliance:
Ensure financial reporting aligns with current IFRS standards. Implement changes as required and support policy development across the group.
Hyperion Financial Management (HFM):
Manage the HFM platform for group reporting. Oversee data integration and ensure accurate consolidation processes.
Financial Reporting:
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual group reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with senior leadership, finance teams, and auditors, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting processes, improving efficiency and data quality.
Internal Controls & Risk Management:
Uphold strong financial controls and governance across the group, ensuring accuracy and mitigating reporting risks.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Investments:
Support financial due diligence and integration of new acquisitions into group reporting structures.
Financial Data Integrity:
Maintain high data quality across reporting systems and work with teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance reporting accuracy.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management and group reporting, with strong exposure to IFRS and complex group consolidations.
Proven hands-on experience in group consolidation and reporting within multi-entity structures.
Demonstrated expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and other consolidation/reporting systems.
Strong understanding of international accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel and financial data analysis.
Solid working knowledge of accounting software such as Pastel and other relevant ERP platforms.

Analytical & Communication Skills
Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and deliver meaningful insights to senior stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
