POSITION INFO:
Our client is a pioneering distribution business at the heart of South Africa’s logistics network. With a reputation for reliability and innovation, they ensure FMCG and retail products move seamlessly from suppliers to shelves. As their Management Accountant, you won’t just crunch numbers, you’ll influence operational decisions, improve financial efficiency, and play a central role in guiding profitability across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver monthly management reports, variance analysis, and cost breakdowns.
Partner with operations to identify efficiencies and optimise distribution costs.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring for business units.
Translate data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and audit requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reporting and financial processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting or similar (CIMA/CA(SA) advantageous).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in distribution, supply chain, or FMCG finance.
Proven ability to partner with non-finance teams and influence business outcomes.
Strong systems skills (ERP + advanced Excel).
Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Confident communicator, able to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
