My client in the entertainment industry is looking for a seasoned and well experienced group payroll manager to join their team. The successful incumbent will take on the responsibility of applying business knowledge and payroll expertise to provide a wide range of administrative and strategic support to the payroll team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

UIF submissions.
Ensuring all payments to staff, SARS, Department of labour and other Payroll related vendors are accurate and paid on time
Working on the General Ledger Accounts and Financial Reporting.
Managing the Payroll service provider relationship.
Preparing UI19 & UI2.7 for maternity leave and terminated employees.
Ensuring mid-year and year end SARS tax submissions are completed and submitted on time.
Formulating documents, implementing, and administering end to end payroll processes, policies, and practices.
Managing financial year end, reporting and audit.
Taking lead role for all payroll department reporting, data analysis, and audit projects

Recommending and implementing updates/changes to payroll processes.
Developing and maintaining an accurate and timely method of reporting payroll data to the accounting department as required.

Developing processes, procedures and providing guidance for the payroll department to streamline the payroll process and to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all regional payroll entries and transactions

Qualifications & Experience:

7 to 10 years’ Payroll Management experience
Extensive knowledge of BCEA, LRA, WCA, Payroll taxes
Sage 300 People Super User knowledge including WEB ESS, Job Profile and Equity management
Working knowledge of Flexi and Casual contract types
Union Collective Agreement knowledge
Proficiency in the submission of Board & Management packs
PRP Super User knowledge
IT14 SD Recon knowledge
Income Tax knowledge
