JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Property industry is currently in the market for a high-performing Head of Risk Management and Compliance. The incumbent MUST be a qualified CA(SA) with 10+ yearsâ experience, preferably 5+ yearsâ working experience in the same or similar industries. Please see the performance area criteria below for a more detailed description of the required responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

CA(SA)
LLB advantageous
Majors or extra qualifications in Risk Management
Legal or Compliance competencies

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

To liaise annually with the Group CEO regarding strategic opportunities and risks that could inhibit the organization from it achieving its objectives.
To compile a quarterly risk report based on the above presentation to the Risk Management Committee.
Work with Board, Audit & Risk Committee in ensuring the identification and prioritisation of risks and reporting of the same.
Co-ordinate and facilitate specialised compliance risk management.
To formally report on compliance related matters to the relevant structures within the organization (e.g., Anti-corruption report to the Social, Ethics and Transformation committee bi-annually) and ultimately the Risk Management Committee when the Committee seeks assurance in respect of specific matters deemed to be of a high risk (i.e., Bi-annual compliance report).
