POSITION INFO:

The ICT Director provides visionary leadership in adopting new technologies, improving service delivery, and ensuring systems are scalable and resilient.

What youâ€™ll do:

Develop and implement the organizationâ€™s ICT strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
Lead and manage ICT teams, including infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and support services.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide technology systems and networks.
Manage ICT budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure the organizationâ€™s digital assets are secure, compliant with regulations, and protected against cyber threats.
Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, cloud migration, and data analytics.
Establish ICT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation and operational improvement.
Monitor emerging technologies and trends to recommend future enhancements.
Lead crisis response for ICT-related incidents and ensure effective disaster recovery planning.

Your expertise:

10+ years' experience in ICT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience in managing ICT in the public sector, heritage, library, or academic environments.
Strong background in digital transformation, cybersecurity, ICT governance, and large-scale systems administration.
Experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and driving short-term strategic initiatives under fixed-term contracts.

Qualifications required:

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
