POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Architecture Develop and execute a unified technology, data, and digital platform strategy aligned with organisational objectives. Drive technology investment decisions that maximise member value and business impact. Balance immediate delivery priorities with long-term scalability, security, and sustainability. Champion architectural excellence and simplification across the technology landscape. Ensure technology capabilities support the Employer's strategic growth ambitions. Digital Platforms & Member Experience Own the roadmap, delivery, and evolution of the Employer's digital platforms and web ecosystem. Partner closely with Marketing and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences. Establish clear delivery priorities, success measures, and performance indicators. Ensure digital products and platforms remain secure, reliable, user-centric, and cost-effective. Provide leadership and oversight for key technology and platform decisions. Technology Operations & Service Delivery Lead engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and IT operations functions. Ensure the availability, performance, security, and resilience of business-critical services. Drive modern operating practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Simplify and rationalise existing systems into a cohesive, maintainable technology environment. Manage technology partners and vendors to achieve measurable business outcomes and value. Data, Analytics & Insights Establish trusted and accessible data capabilities that support informed decision-making across the organisation. Introduce pragmatic data governance, ownership, and quality standards. Enable self-service analytics and reporting capabilities across business teams. Drive adoption of data platforms and ensure measurable business value is achieved. Build a strong foundation for advanced analytics and AI-driven initiatives. AI Enablement & Innovation Develop and maintain AI-ready platforms, infrastructure, and governance frameworks. Translate AI strategy into practical business capabilities and operational solutions. Support the implementation of AI-enabled workflows, automation, and intelligent agents. Ensure AI technologies are deployed responsibly, securely, and at scale. Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to improve efficiency and member value. Governance, Risk & Prioritisation Lead prioritisation across technology, data, and digital portfolios. Establish transparent governance processes that enable effective decision-making and delivery. Manage technology, security, operational, and delivery risks. Provide visibility of priorities, dependencies, resource allocation, and trade-offs. Ensure compliance with relevant security, privacy, and governance requirements. Leadership & Team Development Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing technology team. Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and delivery excellence. Build organisational capability while maintaining a lean and effective operating model. Provide coaching, direction, and support while empowering teams to operate independently. Manage technology budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships effectively. Candidate Profile Essential Experience & Skills Proven success in senior technology leadership roles spanning strategy, execution, and operational delivery. Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into practical technology solutions and outcomes. Strong experience across cloud platforms, SaaS ecosystems, integrations, web technologies, and digital products. Track record of delivering successful platform, technology, and transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of modern engineering, DevOps, and technology operating models. Experience building and leveraging data, analytics, and AI capabilities within an organisation. Ability to make balanced decisions across cost, speed, quality, risk, and long-term value. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving, and resource-conscious environment.
