Introduction:

• Our client is seeking a ITSM Configuration and Capacity Analyst, who can function in a highly-demanding role in a high-pressure environment, who is resilient and be able to work well under pressure.
• To evaluate systems and procedures and develops IT solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively, keeping in mind the time and budgetary constraints. The analysts also work with the direct users of the system to identify and fix configuration issues

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Candidates are required to have a minimum of 5+ experience dealing with IT Security Systems
• Degree in Information Technology
• ITIL Foundation Certified

Job Description:

• Configuration and Capacity Management
• Apply capacity planning and analytical methodologies to services solutions, reviewing and
• Highlighting areas for improvement
• Understand and apply architecture standards and principles, global product-specific guidelines, and
• Local regulatory requirements to capacity management
• Recommend opportunities to optimize capacity in systems and applications
• Responsible for the execution of the operational workload of the Configuration process
• Review and have input into proposed changes to the Configuration process
• Initiate improvements in the tool, process, steering mechanisms and people
• Communicate changes to the Configuration process
• Administer and maintain the technological environment of the CMDB
• Administer and maintain the Discovery Tools/Integration
• Administer the request to update CMDB, ensuring processes are followed, approvals sort and licences policies are adhered to.
• Ensure accurate information is identified, captured, recorded and maintained for each CI, including relationships throughout their life cycle
• Work with technical and process teams to determine and implement appropriate controls to maintain the accuracy of the CMDB.
