POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Manage and develop existing customer accounts. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships. Handle customer enquiries via email, telephone, and WhatsApp. Prepare, submit, and proactively follow up on quotations. Process orders and ensure efficient customer service throughout the sales process. Develop and grow turnover within assigned customer accounts. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the company's product range. Proactively engage customers regarding upcoming requirements, projects, and stock planning. Support the retention, recovery, and growth of customer accounts. Maintain accurate customer records using Pastel and Microsoft Excel. Work closely with procurement, operations, and external sales teams. Ensure customers receive accurate, timely communication and exceptional service. Achieve agreed sales, gross profit (GP), and account growth targets through proactive account management and customer engagement. Requirements Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, or Account Management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general business systems. Experience using Pastel ERP will be advantageous. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and professional. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Eager to learn, develop, and grow within the business. A team player with a strong sense of accountability, ownership, and initiative. Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach. Advantageous Experience Experience in one or more of the following industries will be beneficial: Agricultural products and equipment Irrigation Industrial supplies Hose, fittings, and fluid transfer solutions Hydraulics and pneumatics Food and beverage manufacturing Manufacturing and engineering Knowledge of PVC hose, rubber hose, couplings, clamps, valves, and related fluid transfer products will be a distinct advantage. However, comprehensive product training will be provided to the successful candidate.
