Key Account Manager

SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and develop strategic customer accounts within the mining sector in Rustenburg.
This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who is comfortable building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding customer requirements, managing account performance and identifying opportunities to grow business within existing and prospective accounts.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts and stakeholders. Build long-term strategic business relationships within allocated accounts. Manage account plans, trading terms and regular customer business meetings. Identify opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen customer relationships. Participate in key account negotiations and commercial discussions. Monitor account performance against agreed plans and targets. Develop action plans to address performance gaps and support achievement of ROI. Prepare regular account, sales and performance reports. Manage account-level budgets and forecasts against short and long-term KPIs. Work closely with internal sales and operational teams to support customer requirements. Contribute to the implementation of strategic account management initiatives. Maintain accurate account information and activity within CRM systems. Minimum Requirements: Matric \/ Grade 12. Relevant Diploma in Business Management, Marketing or Sales Management. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Key Account Management, Account Management or B2B Sales. Experience managing commercial relationships and negotiations with key customer accounts. Experience with account planning, forecasting, budgets and performance against targets. Strong stakeholder and relationship management experience. CRM and general computer literacy. Good understanding of business processes and systems. Valid driver's licence. Must be based in Rustenburg or able to work from Rustenburg. Experience within the mining, mining services, industrial equipment or technical products environment would be advantageous.
