A renowned financial services provider concern is looking for a confident and dynamic Management Accountant to join their team. The Management Accountant will lead a small team of junior management accountants.

A renowned financial services provider concern is looking for a confident and dynamic Management Accountant to join their team. The Management Accountant will lead a small team of junior management accountants.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing management accounts as well as preparing budgets and balance sheet reconciliations. The Management Accountant will be responsible for analyzing divisional expense variance reports and posting journals as well as assisting with monthly reconciliations. The Management Accountant will be responsible for presenting the management accounts to the stakeholders and engage in continuous liaison with, and support of, client relationship managers and business partners.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-5 years post article experience
At least 2 years’ experience in insurance
Excellent people management and leadership skills
Working knowledge of finance processes and internal financial controls
Working knowledge of cost and management principles
Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
Knowledge of finance systems
