Job description:

Responsible for sound inventory management practices in the group including regular stock counts, cycle counts, variance analyses, loss control and internal control implementation.
Review and propose inventory adjustments after investigation of variances. Obtain management approval for these adjustments prior to posting them in the system.
Regular cash counts and cash up audits at the cash offices.
Review margins and costings of all value added and produced products.
Follow up on claims and rebates, margin recovery and deals with suppliers.
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of results to management.
Budgets/forecasts and variance analyses
Implement internal control and ensure sound practices for waste management and supplier returns.
Leave cover / rotation of duties within the group finance department.
