JOB SUMMARY:
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SALARY: R50 000.00 – R60 000.00

B.Com / B Com Honours with articles / CIMA or B. Com Honours is advantageous
3-5 Years Min Management Accounts & Finance Exp
Advanced Computer skills, Exel and knowledge of pastel
Advantage experience in a manufacturing environment.
Valid driver’s license
Review group management accounts to COO
Reviewing FOREX profits and losses on imports
Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts as well as divisional analysis
Reports.
Ensuring monthly cut-off and reporting deadlines are met
Preparation of Budgets
Feasibility studies for potential new business acquisitions and new stores
Preparation of monthly P&L forecasts
Assist in continuous formulation, implementation and monitoring internal and external audit processes.
Oversee, co-ordinate and ensure the efficient processing of all financial and inventory related data on a day-to-day basis
Review and sign-off of all creditors & balance sheet reconciliations every month
Ensure that all tax types returns, and payments are submitted and paid as per the stipulated SARS deadlines
Manage tax and other statutory compliances for all external retail operations
Responsible for accounting processes and reporting for all external retail operations in accordance with Corporate office reporting timeframes
Ensure smooth execution of new store openings
Provide information for insurance policy values and submission of insurance claims as and when required
Ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to
