Job & Company Description:

A global materials renewable client in the northern suburbs is urgently looking for a number crunching candidate to fill their recently vacated Management Accountant role for a 12 months period. The successful incumbent will perform analytical accounting and reporting of the company on a global level, which includes consolidations of the annual group budget, group forecast and other regular management reports.

This role will require an individual with significant experience in successfully running cross-functional process initiatives.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

Consolidation, preparation and distribution of the Weekly Earnings and Cash Flow estimate
Perform group segment consolidations in the HFM system, including consolidation journals
Design or guide the design of new system solutions or adaptations to existing functionality in order to improve processes
Align requirements among company businesses and align globally where required and strive for efficiency and common standards
Assist with HFM system maintenance and support

As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.

The requirements:

Qualification:

CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (non-negotiable)

Experience:

3+ years relevant experience
Hyperion Financial Management Experience is advantageous
SAP experience advantageous

Skills Required:

Excellent analytical and communication skills
Excellent collaborative skills
Ownership and accountability
