JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly capable management accountant to help the business leaders make
operational and strategic decisions based on sound financial analysis and reporting.

The role will focus on developing financial reporting
frameworks, performing financial analysis, preparing forecasts and reporting on key
performance metrics.
To be successful in this role the candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to Lead, direct and grow the cost and management accounting function.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Currently studying or completed CIMA.
- A minimum of 10 - 15 years' experience in finance preferably as a management
accountant in a FMCG related business.
- Proficiency and working knowledge of ERP systems such as Syspro and other computer
software including Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparing financial reports, forecasts and budgets including weekly factory
performance reports and weekly performance forecasts and monthly cost and
management accounts.
- Coordination of the factory financial management reporting.
- Maintaining a focus on material costs, production costs and ensuring that all costs are
accurately recorded and that inventory numbers are properly maintained.
- Managing performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Analyzing key financial data and advising senior management on key performance
metrics and in doing, so communicating any insights and required actions.
- Contributing to the development of best financial management policies and
procedures and ensuring that these are adhered to.
Ensuring that operational activities is done in accordance with set procedures and that
the ERP system accurately reflects the financial position.
- Stock reconciliations and co-ordination of stock counts.
- Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in management
accounting.
- Educating the operational and production teams on managing costs.
