Market Development Consultant

SUMMARY:
An established international leader in the building solutions and construction products sector is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Market Development Consultant to expand market presence, strengthen industry relationships, and drive business growth across key regions.

This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional with strong technical aptitude and a passion for developing new business opportunities within the construction, plumbing, architectural, engineering, and property development sectors.

POSITION INFO:
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within target markets. Build and maintain relationships with architects, consulting engineers, developers, contractors, quantity surveyors, and key industry stakeholders. Drive product specification and approval on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to clients. Support project pipelines from specification through to project completion. Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to achieve business objectives. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM records. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in business development, specification sales, or technical sales. Experience within the building services, plumbing, sanitaryware, construction materials, or related industries is highly advantageous. Proven ability to engage with architects, engineers, contractors, and developers. Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
