Operations Director/ Head of Supply Chain (JHB001471)

Fast-paced, collaborative, and solutions-driven, FMCG client looking for a Head of Supply Chain/ Operational Director.

A results-driven person with a business-related degree would be optimal with about 10 years of senior experience in an FMCG environment is preferable. 

The role will encompass, among other things, the full day-to-day responsibility and running of various teams across Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and Production, and a strong understanding of these areas from an FMCG perspective is essential. 

You will lead and manage multiple complex projects in these areas with tight deadlines and budgetary constraints with operational efficiency and performance improvement always being at the forefront. Operational decisions and the setting of strategic goals just being part and parcel of this exciting and challenging role.

The role reports to the MD of the group with some incredibly famous and sort after brands behind the company.

• Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment.
• Broad knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, ROI.
• Experience in South Africa and Africa within the FMCG sector.
