SUMMARY:
Based in Benoni and reporting to the Project Manager

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Interface with customers to determine their equipment rental needs
Direct and coordinate activities of establishment engaged in renting or leasing machinery, tools and equipment
Prepare rental or lease agreement, specifying charges and payment procedures, for use of machinery, tools, or equipment
Maintain tool and equipment database
Ensure the periodic maintenance of equipment and tools
Ensure that tools and equipment are calibrated accordingly
Inventory control and ordering of supplies and or required equipment and tool parts
Schedule and coordinate delivery and return of rental equipment.
Maintain the appearance, organization and functionality of all equipment including pre and post repairs
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Assisting in updating of social media outlooks
Assist in development and implementation of marketing plan & marketing material
Add, achieving sales and profit targets
Manage the employees in the Equipment Rental Business

Requirements:

Standard 10 (Grade 12) Certificate
Technical/ Finance/ Marketing Diploma
5 years in plant and equipment rental business
3 years managerial experience
Extensive experience in development of customer relations at management level
