Job & Company Description:
Our client is based in Johannesburg North and they are looking for a product manager to join their team. Duties and responsibilities include formulating, organising and monitoring projects, assisting in implementation and adoption of Agile methodology, leading and evaluating project managers and other staff, developing and controlling deadlines, budgets and activities, applying change, risk and resource management, preparing management reports, participating in the management of people and vendors as well as assessing program performance and aim to maximize ROI. Suitable candidates will be characterised by honesty and integrity, ability to manage conflict as well as being able to ensure client satisfaction.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Matric
Project Management qualification
BSc, BIS, B.Com or B.Eng degree in Computer, Software, Information or Electronic related Sciences from a reputable university would be an added advantage
At least 5 years prior experience in the role of a project manager or product management
Experience in the financial industry would be preferable, but not essential
Good understanding of IT concepts and the SDLC
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.)
Excellent knowledge of waterfall and agile based project management
