Raw Materials Planner

SUMMARY:
A leading organisation within the chemical manufacturing sector is seeking a highly experienced and analytical Raw Materials Parts Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of imported raw materials and high-volume inventory. This role is suited to a technically strong professional with deep SAP expertise and a solid background in the chemical or heavy manufacturing environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience:
  • Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in raw materials, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Proven experience within chemical manufacturing or a heavy industrial environment
  • Exposure to high-volume raw material imports and inventory control
• Industry Preference:
  • Chemical Manufacturing (essential)

• Manage the import process of raw materials end-to-end
• Oversee shipping lines and agent coordination
• Handle high-volume raw material management and planning
• Ensure strong SAP utilisation for procurement, inventory, and reporting
• Maintain accurate product and material data within ERP systems
• Monitor and control large-scale imported material volumes (±500+ materials)
• Drive supplier relationship management and performance tracking
• Support production through efficient raw material availability
• Implement cost control and procurement efficiency strategies
• Ensure compliance with supply chain policies and operational standards

• SAP (Super user level – essential)
• Advanced Excel (essential)
• Power BI / Microsoft BI (advantageous)
• Strong ERP and data analysis capability

• Management and control of large-scale imported raw materials
• Handling complex procurement and supply planning in a high-volume environment
