Our client is an international manufacturer and supplier of power tools & technologies for the construction, mining, automotive sectors. Job Role Summary

You will take the ownership in the assigned territory to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process to effectively analyze, implement and control the opportunities within the territory to achieve the assigned targets for defined territory or market segment. You will find yourself in a variety of places such as Mining sites, Construction sites, Mining plants or in offices and warehouses.

You will also build fruitful working relationships with all levels - partners, contractors, system integrators & end users, and actively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory by targeting the appropriate customer groups and ensure successful introduction of new products. You will ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform, to develop profitable growth.

You will actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test company products; and to be successful you must understand the market thoroughly and know the players, therefore you will obtain information on competition, market price levels, new launches, seminars, new outlets, quality issues, product deliveries and report in monthly report
Key Duties includes:
- You will manage measuring portfolio to achieve product and market leadership. The key responsibility of this position is to build and/or support the defined strategy around competitive product positioning, and development of marketing content for use in regional marketing programs.
- You will also define and drive the actions which will steer to the development of market share.
- You will build master marketing plans to identify business opportunities, to allow for local application and which will secure profitable growth with our service portfolio, while expanding the buying customer platform.
- This position requires you to evaluate the market environment to define market potential, key applications, and customer needs.
- You will support and guide sales teams to achieve desired business results and partner with and communicate effectively to appropriate stakeholders within the market organizations to deliver outstanding value and, contribute to the solution community both in META, and globally through sharing best practices and replication/scaling of successes.
- With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will challenge the status quo, taking calculated risks to drive and develop innovation from within. You will proactively monitor the external environment and translate relevant trends into the organization, to ensure agility and value creation.
Essential skills, qualifications and experience required

- Completed Bachelors degree/ Honours degree preferred (Business administration related qualification).
- An MBA or Masters degree is an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in Construction trades and applications for trade specific role.
- Minimum 4 years Sales experience, in the Energy, Construction/Façade/ Interior finishing -Civil or other technical industry.
- Proven track record in a direct sales /technical sales role.
- Strong CRM understanding, preferably Salesforce.
- Strong operational, process, time management and administrative skills.
- Negotiation, Listening, Communication (English written and verbal) and Presentation Skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- An agile approach to solving problems, with a solution-oriented mind-set.
- Strong business acumen, with a team orientated attitude.
