SALES PRODUCT SPECIALIST – STORAGE

POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity You will be responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts across a comprehensive portfolio of warehouse storage solutions, including: Pallet racking Long-span shelving Boltless shelving Mezzanine floors Plastic bins and containers Industrial storage solutions Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, distribution, mining, agriculture and automotive Drive proactive prospecting through cold calling, networking, customer visits and industry events Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and site assessment through solution development, proposal, negotiation and closing Conduct warehouse site surveys and assessments to understand customer storage requirements Recommend and develop tailored storage solutions that maximise warehouse capacity and operational efficiency Prepare professional quotations and compelling technical and commercial proposals Participate in tenders and coordinate competitive submissions Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts within commercial guidelines Develop relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and repeat business Work closely with Design and Operations teams to ensure technical accuracy and solution feasibility Maintain accurate CRM information, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify emerging opportunities What We're Looking For Matric \/ Grade 12 Sales, Marketing or Business qualification advantageous Minimum 3-5 years' external sales experience within storage systems, racking or material handling solutions Proven B2B sales and new business development track record Experience selling industrial products, pallet racking, shelving, storage systems, material handling equipment or warehouse solutions Understanding of warehouse operations and basic warehouse design principles Ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts and plans Strong consultative selling and solution-development capability Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency The Ideal Candidate You are someone who doesn't wait for opportunities to arrive - you create them .
