SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – (International Operations) EE

SUMMARY:
A senior management opportunity exists for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end international supply chain operations.
The role will oversee sourcing, procurement, supplier management, purchase orders, international freight, customs, delivery and customer requirements, while supporting commercial opportunities and ensuring efficient, cost-effective supply chain execution.

This is an EE appointment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Matric; relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, International Trade or Business advantageous 7-8 years' Supply Chain leadership experience Strong experience in international supply chain, import \/ export, freight forwarding, procurement or strategic sourcing Proven experience managing complex, high-volume operations involving international suppliers and multiple logistics stakeholders Strong knowledge of sea and air freight, customs, shipping documentation, Incoterms, inland transport and delivery coordination Strong commercial experience, including supplier \/ carrier negotiations, quotations, tenders, customer solutions and cost control Experience developing SOPs, reporting, controls and service standards Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills Advanced Microsoft 365 and Excel; Shipshape advantageous Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day supply chain operating plan, priorities and service delivery Oversee the end-to-end process from customer requirements and procurement through supplier production, freight, customs clearance and final delivery Manage international suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, transporters and other service providers Coordinate sea, air and multimodal freight , balancing cost, lead times, reliability and customer requirements Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs, tariffs, Incoterms, VAT and relevant trade requirements Lead supplier and service-provider negotiations, performance reviews and cost management Partner with Sales on quotations, tenders, customer solutions and new business opportunities Monitor operational costs, identify cost leakage and support margin protection Drive operational controls, reporting, process improvement and technology adoption Identify and manage supplier, operational, capacity, geopolitical and compliance risks Lead, coach and develop the team, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
