SUMMARY:
A vacancy exists with our client in Woodmead for a Sales Account Manager

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

• Degree/ relevant tertiary qualification
• Sales, Logistics & Supply Chain experience preferably in the Manufacturing & Packaging
Industry
• Computer Literate (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Word Skills are essential)
• Be of a pleasant disposition & a team player
• Must always be available to attend to customer problems & needs
• Self - Motivated individual who is results driven
• Be willing to travel nationally when required
• Knowledge of JDE & Qlikview Operating Systems
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to consult with customers & suppliers
• Ability to negotiate & liaise with customers
• Valid Drivers license.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Building Customer base with well - defined targets
• Developing & maintaining strong & effective customer relationships
• Evaluating & gathering key customers market intelligence
• Regular Sales Progress Reporting
• Supporting & Implementation of Sales & Marketing Plans
• Strong liaison with Planning, Operations & Warehousing
• Management of the working capital objectives & requirements ( FG Stock )
• Stock Write Downs
• Customers OTIF’s
• Customers Forecast Accuracy
• Finished Goods Ageing Management
• S&OP Process Management
• Customer Service & Relationship Management
• Customer Retention & Volume Management
