JOB SUMMARY:

A dynamic and fast-growing supplier of chemicals and equipment for water treatment application to industry is seeking young and dynamic Sales Engineer to develop and maintain sales into the water treatment and related industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a relevant technical qualification, ideally chemical
Minimum 2-3 years’ sales experience (specifically new business development) within the water treatment industry will be required
A solid understanding of water treatment processes is essential
Must be entrepreneurial, and incentive- and results driven
Must have a driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Maintaining and increasing order intake for a geographic area and product range.
Managing and developing sales channels and expanding the customer base.
Defining and providing sales and marketing plans for the specific sales area or product range.
Supporting external and internal customers in solution definition and quotation work (technical and commercial), to meet customer requirements.
Participating in project negotiations and preparing project quotations.
Assisting with product development.
Providing Technical Support for products within the market area.
Identifying and targeting service and sales opportunities for the water treatment and related industries.
Promoting the company products and image.
Delivering presentations at customers on new product launches.
Maintaining industry/market knowledge within the Water Treatment industry.
Growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins.
Attending conferences as needed within the Water Treatment and related industries.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
