JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Paarl is in need of a Sales manager to join their team.

DUTIES:
Managing Key Account Customers – ensuring that sales volumes & targets are met

Promoting of sales, calling on new clients sourcing & acquiring new business and building strong customer relationships

Generate new business opportunities

Arrange monthly promotions

Ensure orders are taken accurately and priced correctly
Managing sales queries

Manage the debtors age analysis ensuring customers are settling their accounts within the required time frame

Liaison with team members to provide assistance with customer service where needed

Manage reports including activity logs, call sheets on a weekly basis

Conduct research and compile a report on competitive products

REQUIREMENTS:
Matric with own transport and drivers license
At least 3 years’ experience in the FMCG market
Strong general knowledge of food services industry
Must be computer proficient, knowledge with Pastel Evolution advantageous

Must have excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
