Sales Manager (Hospitality)

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Isando, Kempton Park that proudly serves the hospitality industry with a comprehensive range of high-quality products is looking for a Sales Manager to drive sales growth, managing key accounts and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets within the FMCG sector.

This role involves developing sales strategies, expanding market share, maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers and ensuring effective execution of sales plans.

POSITION INFO:
In order to be considered the following is required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field 5 - 8+ years of sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 - 3 years in a managerial role Strong understanding of FMCG distribution networks and retail channels Proven track record of achieving sales targets Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Strategic thinking and planning Leadership and team management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Customer relationship management Results-driven and target-oriented mindset Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting Working capital improvements (DSO, DPO, inventory turnover) Cost savings and margin improvements Forecast accuracy Process efficiency and automation gains Duties & Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets Identify new market opportunities and expand distribution channels Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviour Team Management: Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews Provide training and development to enhance team capabilities Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors and retailers Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention Sales Operations: Forecast sales volumes and manage budgets effectively Ensure proper stock availability and inventory management Coordinate with supply chain and marketing teams for smooth operations Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance and prepare regular reports Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement Provide insights and recommendations to senior management Information displayed above not limited to advertisement.
