Duties:
Management Reporting & Divisional Finance

• Prepare monthly divisional management information across lending portfolios.
• Finalise divisional trial balances and reporting packs for executive stakeholders including CFO and CEO.
• Analyse and report on key business drivers and financial performance metrics.
• Engage business units to compile weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts.
• Coordinate and challenge divisional forecasts, budgets, and financial submissions.
• Represent Finance at operational meetings within product divisions.
• Provide input into annual financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Manage internal and external audit queries relating to divisions.
• Review work completed by direct report including journals, amortisation schedules, and transaction processing.

• Project manage the monthly management accounts and reporting cycle.
• Gather financial data from divisions while ensuring internal control compliance.
• Perform independent review and challenge of financial results.
• Coordinate reporting submissions to executive leadership and group.
• Investigate and request analysis of material variances.
• Finalise month-end close processes and enforce reporting cut-offs.
• Maintain consolidation structures, GL layouts, and reporting frameworks.
• Act as primary contact for management reporting matters and related audits.
• Support annual internal audit reviews relating to financial controls.

• Lead and coordinate the annual budget and 5-year forecasting process.
• Consolidate divisional submissions into group-level financial forecasts.
• Develop timelines, templates, and deliverables for budgeting cycles.
• Track progress against deadlines and ensure quality of submissions.
• Review divisional forecasts and challenge assumptions where required.
• Prepare consolidated budget packs for Board and Group reporting.
• Maintain version control of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure accurate upload and reconciliation of budgets within financial systems.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant Finance or Accounting qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the banking industry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management reporting.

• Month-end financial reporting coordination
• Budgeting and forecasting processes
• Stakeholder reporting at senior management level
• Exposure to IFRS9 impairment reporting (review and analysis level advantageous).
• Experience with financial audits and regulatory reporting.
• Pastel Evolution experience advantageous.

• Strong analytical ability with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
• Ability to analyse complex financial matters and produce executive summaries.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• High level of organisation and documentation discipline.
