SUMMARY:
SENIOR IT DEVELOPER
Location: Randburg
Salary: R45 000 - R55 000 CTC (depending on experience)

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

IT degree or similar qualification.
3–5 years' experience.
C#, JavaScript & TypeScript.
MS SQL, MySQL & MongoDB.
.NET, React, ASP.NET Core & Node.js.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Develop, enhance, and maintain modern software applications while designing scalable solutions and integrating business systems.
Work closely with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science. IT Degree or similar qualification. 3-5 years' experience in software development. C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript proficiency. MSSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB experience. Strong working knowledge of .NET, React, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js. RESTful APIs and API integration development experience. Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and analytics. Git, GitHub, DevOps, and CI\/CD pipelines experience. Working in Agile environments, including sprint planning and stakeholder engagement. Fully bilingual. Advantageous: Experience with Power BI and SSRS. Knowledge of Visual Paradigm and Microsoft Visio. Experience integrating financial systems. Linux server experience. Personality Traits: Innovative and solution-driven. Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and proactive. Strong communicator and team player. Duties and responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain web and desktop applications. Design and implement scalable software solutions using modern development frameworks. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate internal and third-party systems. Design, optimise, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases. Build and maintain ETL processes and data integration workflows. Design system architecture and contribute to technical blueprinting. Manage source control, DevOps processes, and CI\/CD deployment pipelines. Collaborate with stakeholders throughout Agile development cycles. Perform system integration, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Troubleshoot, optimise, and continuously improve application performance. Maintain technical documentation and ensure development best practices. Support project delivery through technical guidance and effective project management.
