Senior Key Account Manager

SUMMARY:
Senior, Qualified and relevantly experienced Key Account Manager (Food Industry) is required for a reputable Food company in the Western Cape. Must have BSc Food Science/equivalent degree and a minimum of +5 years’ experience in a Senior Key Account Manager position

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales and profits
• Maintaining existing Professional relationships with Corporate clients
• Assist with initiatives to increase customer business, satisfaction as well as retention
• Understand the requirements of each client’s needs and business objectives
• Coordinate with various teams, departments and stakeholders to ensure that each customer’s expectations are met
• Assist various teams to meet financial targets and growth objectives
• Follow up and assist with claims, returns, product maintenance and promotional sponsorships
• Work in conjunction with Management for effective expense control and company-wide strategic planning
• Interactive and hands on approach to Product development, conducting of trials and testing
• Successfully upsell the company’s services and solutions
• Assist with planning in order to meet customer requirements
• Manage customer projects from inception to completion

Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12
• BSc Food Science/equivalent Degree
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Key Account Manager in the Food Industry is NON negotiable
• Relevant Business Management Diploma or Degree is preferred
• Business to Business commercial experience
• Good Computer skills are essential
• Well-groomed and presentable
• Energetic and able to deal with pressure
• Ability to deal calmly and professionally with Customer complaints
• Strong negotiating ability and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver''s license
• Own reliable transport
• Must be able to travel
• SA Citizens Only
• Salary is dependent on relevant operational experience and skill set
