POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a skilled and analytical professional to join a leading investment environment as a Senior Performance & Attribution Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in investment performance measurement, data integrity, and portfolio analysis.

Key Requirements:

Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, or a related field
CFA, CIPM or similar
5–8 years’ experience in performance measurement and attribution
Strong understanding of investment portfolios (listed and unlisted)
Experience with performance systems (e.g. StatPro, HiPortfolio or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and manage data reconciliation across performance and source systems
Calculate and validate portfolio returns (time- and money-weighted)
Analyse portfolio performance drivers across asset classes and sectors
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
Monitor benchmark performance and provide insights on risk and return
Maintain and enhance performance models
Ensure compliance with governance and reporting standards
Support and mentor junior team members

Key Skills:

Strong financial and analytical capability
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Solid understanding of performance & attribution methodologies
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
