SUMMARY:
Our client has a presence in Africa's emerging markets and have developed a number of services in the mobile, finance and gaming space, working with some of the top names in the Fintech and Telecoms industry. They use agile and lean methodologies to ensure innovation remains at the forefront of their business. Their team continues to grow and they are recruiting a Senior Predictive Analyst to their fantastic team.

POSITION INFO:
The role of a Predictive Analyst will require statistical modelling on a number of fintech and mobile app projects for clients in the telecommunications field; and forms part of the client-facing team on presentations and projects.

The key requirements and experience include:

A relevant statistical/ mathematical/ quantitative degree
Applied knowledge of business mathematics
Statistical modelling
Modelling & programming in R, SAP, SQL, Excel
Excellent communication skills as presenting to clients is part of the role
Available to travel into Africa from time to time

This role will suit a predictive modeller or data scientist who loves the fintech industry, enjoys working with super-smart and innovative teams, and can turn maths and stats into a language or app clients can buy into.
