Senior Property Portfolio Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client in the property management industry is seeking a Senior Property Portfolio Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across residential and commercial property portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing municipal accounts, liaising with the City of Cape Town, property management agents, metering companies, tenants, and service providers, while ensuring accurate record-keeping, reporting, and efficient portfolio administration.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Manage municipal accounts and resolve billing, rates, tariff, meter reading, and service-related queries. Submit and monitor applications, objections, and account amendments via the City of Cape Town online portal. Follow up on outstanding municipal matters until resolved. Liaise with property management agents, metering companies, municipal officials, tenants, and service providers. Maintain accurate tenants, lease, deposit, inspection, and property records. Update tenant vacating schedules and lease expiry trackers. Prepare reconciliations, reports, and management summaries using Microsoft Excel. Manage municipal and property-related correspondence through Microsoft Outlook. Ensure all documentation is complete, compliant, and audit ready. Assist with reporting, compliance, and portfolio administration. Minimum Requirements Previous experience in municipal account administration and property portfolio administration. Experience working with the City of Cape Town online services portal. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Previous experience within the property management, real estate, or sectional title industry is advantageous.
