SUMMARY:
Senior Sales Administrator | Cape Town

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Coastal Sales Administrator to manage and coordinate sales administration, warehouse operations, logistics, and stock control across the Coastal Region (Cape Town, Port Elizabeth & George).
This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-driven professional with strong experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Sales Administration & Customer Service

Process customer orders, quotations, sales orders, invoices, GRVs, and credit notes
Act as the key liaison between customers, sales teams, and supply chain
Manage customer queries and ensure effective resolution
Maintain accurate PODs, delivery records, and administrative registers
Follow up on backorders to ensure timely fulfilment

Stock Control & Supply Chain Support

Assist with stock adjustments, returns, GRVs, and credit processing
Support stock forecasting, reporting, and month-end stock counts
Monitor stock levels and ensure FIFO compliance
Assist in reducing stock discrepancies and ensuring accurate inventory records

Logistics & Distribution

Coordinate regional deliveries and assist with route planning
Liaise with transport providers and internal departments
Prepare and manage dispatch documentation, manifests, and driver trip sheets

Warehouse Administration

Support receiving, dispatching, and inventory control processes
Assist with warehouse stock takes and reporting
Monitor product traceability, labelling, and shelf-life compliance

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Mathematics advantageous)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
- Sales Administration (invoicing, GRVs, credit notes, PODs, etc.)
- Warehouse Administration (stock counts, forecasting, route planning, etc.)
Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
Syspro experience highly beneficial
Experience in chemical or FMCG distribution advantageous
Valid driver’s licence
Must reside in or near Killarney Gardens (due to commuting constraints in Cape Town)
Willingness to travel to Port Elizabeth and George when required
