Are you a technically strong Sales Engineer with deep experience in industrial valves and a passion for solving complex flowâcontrol challenges? This leading engineering company is seeking a driven professional to service key clients across the Chemical, Pulp & Paper, and Sugar Milling sectors.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Join a respected engineering solutions provider specialising in industrial valves, actuators, and flowâcontrol products across various process industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the chemical and process manufacturing markets. You will provide technical guidance, develop tailored solutions, and support customers in achieving operational efficiency and plant reliability.
You will work closely with engineering teams, plant managers, and procurement departments while representing premium valve brands and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Education:

Matric/Grade 12 (preferred)
Technical training or certifications in industrial valves and flowâcontrol systems (advantage)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Strong background in industrial valves, control valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related flowâcontrol equipment
Proven sales experience in process industries such as:
- Chemical/ Petrochemical
- Pulp & Paper
- Sugar Mills
Ability to interpret technical drawings, valve specifications, datasheets, and process diagrams
Experience conducting plant visits, troubleshooting valve applications, and advising on product selection
Strong understanding of process flow, media compatibility, pressure ratings, and material specifications
Excellent commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities
Strong clientârelationship skills with experience managing key accounts
Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and technical presentations
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
